From download to in-game

Grab the installer for your OS above and run it. The launcher self-updates from here on out.

Sign in once
Authenticate with your Microsoft account. The launcher handles the Minecraft handoff — no extra password.

Pick a version & play
Choose a Minecraft version; Velocity downloads the matching client build and natives, then launches.
The store lives inside the launcher
Cosmetics and Velocity+ are unlocked from the in-launcher store, which signs you in automatically. Install Velocity first, then open the Store tab — no separate login.
